Halyard (rope)

Flagpoles can have the halyard either in or outside the pole. If theft or vandalism is a concern in your area, you may want to consider an internal halyard. The external halyard (rope) is what most people use and is less expensive. The internal halyard (rope) is more expensive but more secure and safe.

We guarantee that all of our fiberglass poles, which have been properly installed according to our instructions will withstand winds of up to 100 mph when flying the flag whose length is not more than 25% of the pole height.

Damage resulting from vandalism or other hazards are not covered by this guarantee.

Our poles are guaranteed up to 100 mph when flying the flag sizes indicated. We also recommend removing the flags at wind speeds above 50-60 mph to avoid damage to the flag.
